Aerostich Moto Fizz Seat Bag

When having baggage is a good thing

SURE, YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HALF-SANDwich under the seat of a modern bike, but these days that's about all that fits. For mega storage options, we turned to Aerostich's imported-from-Japan Moto Fizz seat bag.

This strap-on luggage is made from expertly sewn nylon and available in three sizes. There are more zips and tucks and straps and pockets than space allows us to list. Suffice it to say the main compartments are easy to access and quite spacious. The Small version (shown, 8 x 12x16 inches) features topside maincompartment access only, while the Medium (12 x 12 x 19) and Large (14 x 14x27) add side entries, and all are expandable by several inches.

External straps, bungee nets and sewn-in loops easily accept foam sleeping pads, small tents and more.

There is even a removable zippered belt back on the larger models. Some internal structure keeps bag shape reasonable even when it’s not completely stuffed with stuff. Mounting for all three is simple and secure. Four nylon straps have a loop at one end and an adjustable buckle at the other. There are good ways to mount the bags on most types of motorcycles. Some paint contact, particularly on sportbikes, is inevitable but, overall, these are ex cellent bags for travel or commuting, sized to your needs. Load up!
