CYCLE WORLD THINGS TO DO
The clubs and organizations that are devoted to the various forms of on-theroad motorcycling have long deserved more attention and exposure. Right? Right!
There are hundreds of motorcycle organizations that, along with the American Motorcyclist Association, sponsor national and regional events in
the form of rallies, tours, charity rides and other get-togethers. Not to mention the local groups within the 40 AMA regions who offer Sunday morning rides, road enduros and poker runs, all of which add to the fun of motorcycling.
Things To Do is a new department, bringing you information on what the clubs are doing, where they're doing it, and when. Items of interest pertaining to club news and activities will also be highlighted.
So, are you looking for the next antique and classic show? Would you like to start a club? Are you interested in what your favorite make/model club is doing? Is your organization seeking new chapters? If you have something special planned or an important event scheduled, we’d like to hear from you. Send the information, including dates, locations, phone numbers, etc., at least three months prior to the event to Things To Do, Cycle World, 1499 Monrovia Ave., Newport Beach, Calif. 92663.

Red Knights Motorcycle Club
The Red Knights Motorcycle Club was formed in October, 1982 as a group of firefighters from Massachusetts. The primary purpose of the Red Knights is to promote and strengthen the brotherhood of firefighters off duty as well as on duty. They want to improve the image of motorcycling to the public and to present safety courses for new and veteran riders alike.
They now have three chapters. 1984 promises poker runs, sightseeing tours and Learn To Ride courses. If you are a firefighter (active or retired, permanent, volunteer or on call) who also happens to enjoy motorcycling and would be interested in joining or forming a chapter, write the national headquarters at: The Red Knights Motorcycle Club, P.O. Box 705, Boylston, Mass. 01538.
