British cars and bikes

The All British Motor Sports Meet will be held in Overland Park, Kansas on Labor Day Weekend, August 29-31. Activities include people's choice and judged classes, field events and swap meets. Mountain racing

The Mountain Roadracing Association is sponsoring the Sixth Annual Steamboat Mountain Road Race through the streets of Steam boat Springs. Colorado. September 5-7. Scheduled events are Dick Mann's Vintage Motocross Race, a Vintage Road Race and a regular MRA sprint program. Also included is the seventh round of the Suzuki GSX-R and Honda 500 Interceptor Championship Series on Sunday. Call Vicki Yates, MRA, at (303) 665-8357 for information.

Illinois river run

September 5-7 is the date of the Great River Road Run at the Pine Lakes Resort in Pittsfield, Illinois. Hosted by the Jerseypine Cruisers Motorcycle Club, the rally package includes camping, swimming and fishing. food, dancing, awards, tours and poker runs. Cross Island carnival
