MOTOGP NEXT-GEN

At the request of energy-drinkmaker Red Bull, 13 students from Professor Jesus Rojas Ache's indus trial-design class at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savanna, Georgia, have created two full-scale Grand Prix-style motorcycles. To achieve this price point, Ecosse fitted the black-only C with a 100-cubicinch, cast-aluminum V-Twin engine and a five-speed transmission; the three other models in the line get 120 cubes of machinedfrom-biliet-aluminum displacement and six-speed gearboxes. DUCATI DIARY

Federico Minoli, president and CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, has launched Desmoblog, the official “web log” from the Borgo Panigale factory. Minoli himself will key in the latest goings-on: decisions made regarding motorcycles, events around the world, behind-thescenes racing reports and more-all in an effort to keep the lines of communication open between Ducati and the motorcycle world at large. “I believe a blog written directly by a company’s president is an innovative communication and marketing tool, but also, above all, another way to offer the international tribe of Ducatisti a real human face to dialogue with,” said Minoli.
