CW RFK PROJECT BIKE #10: THE GOOD FIGHT

Ten years ago, we invited Ride for Kids (RFK) to join us at the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows to help spread the word about RFK’s amazing contributions to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (www.pbtus.org) and its efforts to discover the cause of and cure for childhood brain tumors through the support of medical research.

Once again, American Honda and Advanstar Communications (producers of the CW shows) have offered their support to the cause. This year, we are happy to announce that for the fourth year running, Roland Sands Design has built an unforgettable raffle bike. The CBR1000RR was inspired by a project bike from Cycle World’s past, namely the bright-yellow CBR900RR streetfighter featured in our April, 1994, issue.

For a chance to win the RSD CBR1000RR, purchase tickets at any of 11 Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows ($5 a ticket or 5 for $20) or online at www.rideforkids.org. All proceeds fund the battle against pediatric brain tumors.
