TSPIED! TRIUMPH T695

TRIUMPH HAS AN ALL-NEW, 150-mph sport-tourer designed to compete with Honda's VFR Interceptor, reports England's Motor Cycle News. Photo graphed during testing at Spain's Cartagena circuit, the 451-pound T695 is powered by a 100-horsepower, liquid cooled, fuel-injected, 955cc Triple tuned for low-end and midrange torque. The engine is housed in a conventional twin-spar aluminum frame, with floating brakes and single-sided swingarm from the T595 Daytona. Ergonomics are similar to the current bike, but with higher handlebars and lower footpegs for improved long-dis tance comfort. Also expected is a full line of acces sories, including heated hand grips and saddlebags.
