SQUALO ATTACK!
It must he something in the water...or, more likely, the beer. No sooner had we stopped drooling over the Drysdale V8, than photos of another Aussie oddity plopped down on the desk. If you know Vee Two at all, it's from the company's Alchemy kithike, a steel-tube setup meant for old bevel-drive Ducati motors. Same concept here, except the frame is a lovely oval-tube aluminum affair from Japan's Over Racing and the powerplant is any late-model 900SS belt-drive V-Twin you hap pen to have lay ing about. Completing real hands across-the water trilogy, Vee Two commis sioned British stylist John Keogh to come up with the bike's scrumptious-looking bodywork-pity about that queer belly pan, though. Anyway, add the Squalo (that's Italian for "shark") to the growing list of Down Under delec tables. If this keeps up, we'll have to open an Australian office... At this point, it's unclear if Squalos will be sold here complete or in kitbike form. For more information, contact Vee Two's U.S. agent, Pro Italia, at 818/249-5707.
