UPDATED CBR900 AMONG HONDA'S 1995 EARLY-RELEASES

Apparently you've been buying motorcycles. So much so that by late April, Honda says its dealers were out of many 1994 models. That's the reason, the company says, it is early-releasing some 1995s. Most notable is the '95 edition of the CBR900RR, which gets an upgraded fork offering a compression damping adjustment and a new cartridge design. The bike also receives a wider fairing upper that carries a slightly taller windscreen. As part of its `95 upgrade, the big CBR also will come with flush-mount headlamps, a re designed instrument cluster, a magne~ sium cam cover, reshaped transmission gears and a few other minor changes. The price is up $200, to $9199. Other early-release models include the Shadow 1100 (new color schemes, $8099 for two-tone paint, $7799 for solid colors), the Shadow VLX and VLX Deluxe (the VLX, $5199, gets a reshaped handlebar and barmounting bosses, the Deluxe, $5499, gets the same plus new two-tone color schemes), the Pacific Coast (no changes, $7499), and, also un changed, the XR600R ($4599), 250R ($3899), 100R ($1999) and 80R ($1799)
