GMS ROAD RACE AND SUMMER GLOVES

GMS leather gloves have padded palms and thumb/forefinger. Both models feature Velcro closure on the wrists. PRO-VENT

Many times it’s possible to get more power from stock motocross bikes by simply increasing the air flow to the air filter. Some racers cut holes in the sides of their stock airboxes, but water also enters. Pro-Vents let air in, keep water out. The one inch plastic discs have louvered vents that can be directed away from water splash. They will work in almost any airbox, with installation as simple as drilling holes in the airbox and slipping the discs in. They come eight to a package for $8.95. FOX HEAT BEATER

Racing during the middle of summer always becomes uncomfortable and sometimes it becomes unbearable. Moto-X Fox has come up with a solution called the Fox Heat Beater. It’s a terrycloth garment that fits over the shoulders of the rider and has pockets to hold crushed ice. The ice slowly melts during the rigors of competition and the water wets the terrycloth, cooling the rider. Fox says the pockets are large enough to keep a rider cool through a 45 min. moto.
