HOW IT'S DONE

All the concern in recent years about motorcycle safety is providing information about technique, and that's a good thing. The latest new source of information on how motorcycles are ridden comes from the Motorcycle Safety Department of Northern Illinois University at DeKalb.

Ride Safe is a film explaining motorcycle technique. Countersteering, braking, crossing obstacles and counter-weighting re demonstrated in the film, available as a video cassette or on 16mm film. Dave Despain, formerly with the AMA and now working as a race announcer and freelance writer, narrates the film.
