GLENN'S SUZUKI ONE-CYLIN DER REPAIR AND TUNE-UP GUIDE, by Charles W. Crawford and Harold T. Glenn, 330 pages, and GLENN'S

HONDA TWO-CYLINDER REPAIR AND TUNE-UP GUIDE, by Harold T Glenn, 218 pages, published by Crown Publishers, Inc., 419 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10016. The Suzuki manual in paperback form is $7.50; in cloth $9.95. Price for the Honda manual in paperback form is $4.95.

The two comprehensive and pro fusely illustrated repair manuals logi cally begin with troubleshooting sec tions which may help pinpoint the exact cause of a malfunction, saving the reader time and trouble in his search for the problem.

The Suzuki manual covers all Suzuki single-cylinder models from 50cc to 400cc in detailed sections which include general tuning instructions, the fuel system, the engine, clutch and transmission, the frame and running gear and the electrical system. The Honda manual is similar in format and covers all twincylinder models from 125cc to 450cc.

Written in the proper service sequences, these manuals are filled with detailed illustrations and photographs placed throughout the copy so that a minimum of time is wasted looking for an illustration. There are many cut-away drawings and exploded views which make it easier to understand the operation of the motorcycle’s component parts.

Throughout the texts, printed in boldface type, are cautions which warn the reader against improper procedures, saving both time and money.

The appendixes contain engine and motorcycle performance curves from the factories, as well as several CYCLE WORLD Magazine road test data panels.

With their large, 8 by 11-in. formats, clear illustrations and good quality photographs, these manuals are worthwhile additions to the libraries of Suzuki single-cylinder and Honda twin-cylinder owners and enthusiasts.-Jody Nicholas
