ASTOUNDING Suzuki TwoStroke
• (or hup, hup>
The hot power plant in the World Champion 50cc motorcycle is the astounding Suzuki two-stroke, the most efficient small displacement engine ever crafted.
Because it fires more frequently, it creates more usable horsepower and more spirit than a four-stroke. Also runs smoother, quieter and has more torque at low speeds and under adverse conditions.
The essence of simplicity with only seven (count 'em, seven) moving parts, the Suzuki two-stroke is the most reliable motorcycle available to the American consumer.
For the second year in a row, Suzuki took all the marbles in the lightweight classifications at the 2nd racing of the American Grand Prix at Daytona.

In the 50cc class, the world champion Suzuki swept all of the first four places. In the 125cc class, Suzukis roared into first, second and third spots. The third Suzuki finished two full laps ahead of the fourth place cycle, a Honda.
From start to finish, the lower displacement categories were clearly Suzuki's. Though competing against cycles and riders from all over the world, the Suzuki team was never seriously challenged. The thrills and excitement, from the sound of the gun to the sweep of the flag, centered on Suzuki riders duelling each other.
In 1964, both the 50cc and 125cc races at Daytona were also swept by Suzuki. If the trend continues, which it probably will, they'll be calling Florida the Double-S StateSunshine and Suzuki.
