Ilmberger BMW S1000RR Carbon Fiber

BMW smacked a grand slam home run this year with its new, über-powerful S1000RR. So it should come as no surprise to anyone that the motorcycle aftermarket is running at redline to create all manner of performance upgrades for this bar-raising repli-racer. For example, want carbon fiber? Germany's limberger has the S1000RR covered—both literally and figuratively. There are options aplenty for street riders and racers alike. All parts are manufactured exclusively through autoclaving and clear-coated for durability. Prices range from $80 for heel guards to $1266 for a complete race fairing kit.

Chadd Padd Disposable Refueling Bib

Fuel burps or spills during fill-ups can be harmful to paint or even lead to a fire if gas were to come in contact with a hot engine. Clean-ups can be problematic, too; paper towels, when available, can scratch. Partially perforated to accommodate most gas-tank filler ports, the 10 x 10-inch Chadd Padd ($9.95 for a six-pack) is made from soft, absorbent polymers, anti-static-treated, water-resistant and able to soak up as much as 4.5 ounces of petroleum products.

Eagle One Gel Wax

Eagle One says its new Gel Wax is easier to use than liquid wax and lasts just as long as paste products. Thanks to “advanced nano-technology,” it glides on easily, won’t discolor black trim or leave behind white residue and wipes off quickly for a showroom shine. Further, unlike conventional waxes, Gel Wax doesn’t need to haze or dry prior to removal. We put a coat of this citrus-scented product on Cycle World's long-term 2010 Honda VFR1200F DCT, and it was indeed easy to apply to both plastic and metal painted surfaces. The wax spread smoothly and, when buffed off immediately with a clean microfiber towel, left behind a deep, rich, lustrous finish. Good stuff.
