FIRST LOOK: 2010 Kawasaki KX450 & KX250

The 2010 KX45OF received multiple updates in an effort to improve what was already one of the best 450cc motocrossers available. Changes include a new bridged-box-bottom piston (short-skirt, slipper-type), crankshaft, clutch, intake cam, ECU and larger radiators, all of which contribute to more power and improved response. New suspension settings and a revised frame and swingarm improve handling. Kawasaki's biggest KX will set you back $8049, $500 more than last year. Also pictured (above) is the KX25OF ($6999), which received similar chassis, suspension and engine updates.
