ToolTime

If you've ever tried to adjust the compres sion damping on certain motocross or enduro bikes with inverted forks, you know that accessing the adjusters can be a minor annoyance. Each adjusting screw is located atop its respective fork leg, directly under the horizontal portion of the handlebar, which makes it difficult to get the blade of a screwdriver into the adjuster's slot. In some cases, you either have to remove the handlebar to turn the adjuster or risk damaging the screw by jamming a screwdriver blade into it at a sharp angle and then trying to turn it.

Thanks to a cool little tool from Race Tech, that task is no longer a problem. The Fork Clicker Adjuster Tool (part #TFCA 01, $14) is a thin, hex-shaped aluminum disc with a very short screwdriver blade machined on its backside. The entire tool is only a quarter-inch thick, so you can easily slip it between handlebar and adjusting screw, drop the little blade into the screw's slot and turn the hex with your thumb and forefinger. Plus, the tool is small enough that off-road riders can carry it along in a tool pouch or jacket pocket for

quick and easy on-the-trail adjustments.
