PIT BIKES PLUS
MOTO-MINIMALISM IS the theme behind two Honda tiddlers shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. The FB-B prototype looks for all the world like a skateboard with a motor stuck out back and a handlebar hung
up front-and check out the wooden floor board! Holdtogether is a frame that ap pears to be con structed of the best waterpipe available, then chrome-plated. The complete bike weighs all of 44 pounds.
The Looper, also a prototype, is a higher-tech piece, with a hinged alu minum frame that folds in half, allowing the bike to be stowed even in a commuter car's trunk. Both micro-bikes are powered by a pull-start 3 icc four-stroke Sin gle, liberated apparently from leaf-blower duties.
No word on when the bikes will make production, or of U.S. availabilty.
