Here's your chance to buy a new Ducati, meet the people who built it, then break-in the beast on a twisty-road European vacation.

Chicago-based Lotus Tours and Ducati have set up a "Fly-Buy-Ride" factory delivery program that goes into effect this summer. Buyers jet to Bologna to pick up their U.S.-spec hikes, visit factory personnel, tour the new History of Ducatl Museum, then saddle up for an eight-day tour that takes in the Dolomite Mountains, Grossglockner Pass, St. Moritz and the famous Bernina Pass before returning to the factory. There, the bikes are crated up and sent to the buyer's nearest U.S. dealership for final delivery. Two tours are planned for 1998, four for 1999.
