GOOD NEWS FOR THE SINGLE-MINDED
Two exciting new single-cylinder motorcycles from Germany’s revitalized MZ factory are scheduled to hit America this autumn. The duo will be powered by the same Yamaha XTZ660 five-valve Single engine employed in the existing MZ Skorpion range, and will be built around an all-new tubular-steel frame. And like their more sporting siblings, the new bikes will share many components in a modular-design approach; differences in bodywork, tires, wheels and suspension setup distinguish the supermotardinspired $7200 Mastiff from its dual-purpose sibling, the $6995 Baghira. The new models are the first since MZ’s takeover by Malaysian investors last September.
