Ramapo road run

On Saturday, May 17, the Ramapo Motorcycle Club will host the 1986 AMA Eastern National Championship Timed Road Run. Registration opens at 10 a.m. at the Red Apple Rest on Route 17. Southfields, New York. There will be two championship routes, an awards dinner and an AMA pin. Entry fees: $20. The RMC is also sponsoring the tenth annual Ramapo 500 on July 12 and 13. XLCR register

A new association for devotees of the Harley-Davidson XLCR is now being formed. A register of owners and a quarterly newsletter will be published. Rallies and other activities will be arranged as the membership grows. Write to Barry J. Owen, 727 W. King St., Winona. MN 55987.

All-Brit club events

The British Bike Club hosts its third annual British Motorcycle Day at 1 p.m. on May 18 at the Lion's Den in Burtonsville, Maryland. Admission: $5 in advance: $6 at the gate. Call Bill at (301 ) 253-6046.

The fifth annual British Bike-In '86 Motorcycle Show will be held at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville, Kansas on June 28. On July 1 2 and 1 3, The British Biker Cooperative will sponsor the sixth annual British and European Motorcycle Rally in Plymouth, Wisconsin on the JayCee's Campground. The Triumph Owner's Club of Washington has announced three upcoming events: A Britride IV at Kanasket-Palmer State Park on July 19 and 20; The annual Mt. Keystone rally

June 2 1 through June 23 will be the dates of the ninth annual Keystone Road Rider rally at Evergreen Lake Campground in Moorestown, Pennsylvania. All touring riders are welcome. Activities include a scenic tour, field events and door prizes. A $20 pre-registration fee ($22 at the gate) includes two nights of camping, and Saturday’s all-you-can-eat dinner. Nebraska news

The 1986 Gold Wing Road Riders state rally will be held at Fonner Park, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Sign-in starts June 6 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and June 7, 8:00 to 1 T.00 a.m. Pre-registration, $ 1 5 per person; $20 at the gate, plus doubledoor prizes. Activities include bike judging, field events, awards, poker run, two meals and on-site primitive camping. Nebraska liberty ride

The Northeast Nebraska Touring Club presents its Grand Tour Liberty Ride through October 1. Entrants must visit ten lakes anywhere in the U.S. Submit a photo of your motorcycle next to a marker stating the name of the lake. Solo fee is $ 10; couples, $ 1 5.
