CAGIVA

The world’s most complete line of non-Japanese motorcycles

For most riders in America, Cagiva doesn’t mean much. But for most European riders, Cagiva stands for a company that, in just a few years, has grown to be Europe’s largest manufacturer of two-wheeled vehicles. And now, with a complete line of new-for-’85 bikes, the Italian firm is out to permanently etch its name in the mind of every American rider.

At the top of the line are five machines that represent a joint effort with Ducati. All will have new Cagiva frames and be'powered by Ducati-made V-Twin engines. Cagiva also has enlisted the cooperation of both Ducati and Bimota on' a 1 OOOcc sportbike to be released later in the year. In the meantime, 350, 750 and 900cc streetbikes will be available, along with 350 and 750cc V-Twin dual-pur-„ pose bikes. Cagiva’s motocross line will consist of an all-new 125 and 500, to be joined by a full-size 250 later in the year^ That will make Cagiva the only non-Japanese company in America to offer a complete line of bikes. Meaning that before long, Cagiva might mean as much to riders on this side of The Pond as it does to those on the other side.
