Curt Comer, 1981 U.S. Trials Champion, will ride for Montesa in 1982. Comer will defend his U.S. title and will compete in selected European events, including the Scottish Six Days Trial. Comer will work as a sales rep for Cosmopolitan Motors, the U.S. Montesa importer, when not competing.
