DIESEL CYCLE

Yes, there really is a diesel-powered motorcycle. Powered by a 200cc German Farymann diesel engine, the lowslung diesel cycle can hit 25 mph with the 3.5 horsepower Single clattering along at a maximum speed of 3000 rpm. Engineer Fritz Hochhut has a private collection of old motorcycles, cars and engines. but wasn't content until he designed the world's first diesel-powered cycle. The Farymann diesel is usually an industrial powerplant, used in lifts, generators and boats. Hochhut is shown on his creation, which has had a soundproofing cover removed to show the mighty diesel. The fuel economy should be amazing.
