RC ENGINEERING DRAG CONTINGENCIES

A contingency program for the entire International Drag Bike Association (IDBA) 1979 drag racing season has been announced by RC Engineering. Top Fuel and Super Eliminator winners and runners up at IDBA races will earn $250 and $100, respectively, if they use RC piston kits and display an RC decal on both sides of their bike. Pro Stock and Pro Comp competitors using an RC exhaust system and displaying RC decals will earn $200 for a win and $100 for second place, with~ another $50 going to each semi-final round loser. In Modified Eliminator, racers using" an RC exhaust system will win $150 for a win. $75 for second with $50 going to eac~i semi-final round loser. Street Eliminatoi~ winners will receive a $100 gift certificate and an RC team jacket if RC decals are, displayed on each side of their bike. To be eligible for the contingency program riders must sign an advertising release form prior to the start of eliminations each race, or have a release on file at RC Engineering headquarters.
