ROWE CHAIN TENSIONERS
Rowe chain tensioners feature a roller with free bearings which loosely fit into the races, allowing room for dirt etc., without jamming. A plastic compound is injection molded around the specially designed ball bearing. Lubricated bearings attract dirt and such, so Rowe designed his bearings to operate without lubrication. An increased life is claimed. These rollers are currently being used on factory Honda motocrossers. The universal model shown fits most Japanese models. Al Baker's internal fork conversion kit for mini motocrossers completely replaces all spring and damping components. The progressive hydraulic valving is designed to eliminate the harsh damping action and short travel of the stock mini forks. Progressive wound springs are said to assure instant response, regardless of speed or track surface.
