NEW FACES

Type faces, that is. Readers with an interest in printing or design may notice we’ve changed and updated some of the department headings used in every issue, and that the letters are related to those we’ve had for years as the magazine’s identifying title.

It was no accident. Roger Morrison, our demon Art Director, designed those original letters. Now we have a complete alphabet in Roger’s own distinctive style. Such type faces, as they are called, usually are named and copyrighted under a term which pays credit to the designer or says something about the letters.

Because Roger does these projects at home, after hours, we’ve named our very own alphabet “Midnight Morrison.” We think it looks fine.
