MALCOLM SMITH GOODIES
Malcolm Smith Distributing has added a riding jacket, jacket pack, canen-holder combination and a Baja backpack to its line. The jackets, made from 100 percent waterproof nylon, feature ISDT type pockets, Velcro fasteners on the sleeves, collar and pockets, large zippers and a wide, fully adjustable belt, and are available in small, medium, large and extra-large, in navy blue, red or royal blue with gold pockets. The jacket pack has room for the riding jacket, plus oil bottles, etc., and is available in navy blue, red and royal blue. The canteen-holder combination is made of light, durable plastic held by a strong, nylon holder that is said to fit most belts. GRAND PRIX SHIRTS
Hey, take a look at this. No, we mean the T-shirt! It's the official Hang Ten Shirt of the U.S. Grand Prix. CYCLE BURRO
A lightweight (about 7U lb.) motor cycle trailer with more than 8 cu. ft. of storage is being sold by Hawes Industries. The trailer features a plastic molded body, rugged 14-gauge, 1-in. diameter steel frame, 3.5x10-in. tire, ball bearing wire wheel and torsion springs with six load adjustments. FLOW BENCH
Superfiow 100, a completely equipped flow bench designed for use by racers for engine air flow tests, now is offered by Superfiow, Dept. CW-5, Box 3033, Tulsa, OK 74101, for $800 including all necessary air blowers, controls and instrumentation. Any cylinder head from small motorcycle engines up to 600 CID V-8s may be tested on the flow bench. The head is mounted onto the Superflow 100 and the flow resistance is measured at different valve lifts. After a change has been made to the cylinder head, the flow can be re-measured to a claimed accuracy of 1 percent and compared to the original test.

Flanders now has American made buckle style boots available in kid’s sizes for junior motocross racers, which feature top grain leather, heavily padded shin and ankle areas, and red, white and blue stripes down the front. Each boot has a steel shank in the arch to prevent collapse and provide long-lasting support, and the boots are available in sizes 3Vi to 5xh.
