KTM 690 DUKE TRACK

KTM HAS DEVELOPED A SPECIAL RACING EDITION OF its powerful Duke 690 and given life to the KTM European Junior Cup, which is open to younger riders and runs in conjunction with eight rounds of the Superbike World Championship.

Stripped of lighting equipment and fitted with an Akrapovic-developed titanium exhaust system, the Duke Track tips the scales at a claimed 308 pounds dry. The mighty Single generates 79 horsepower, 9 more than the street-legal version of the bike, thanks to the aforementioned exhaust system, a larger airbox, a special KTM PowerParts camshaft and related fuel-injection remapping.

The rolling gear was upgraded by adding 15 mmlonger-travel, fully adjustable WP suspension, grippy Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tires and a Brembo Racing front disc brake consisting of a single radial-mount caliper and floating rotor. —Bruno dePrato
