Models: 2011 ZX-10R, ZX-10R ABS Number of units affected: 2560 Problem: On certain of these motorcycles, it is possible for a portion of the wiring harness to become pinched between the rear subframe and the rear fender or between the rear subframe and the bolt holding the seat. This can damage the harness and wiring enough to result in an electrical short, which could cause the engine to suddenly stop running, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will repair the motorcycles as necessary and reroute the main wiring harness free of charge. Owners not receiving this remedy can contact Kawasaki at 866/802-9381.
