SXR Street Tracker

Pump up the appearance of nearly any Harley-Davidson Sportster manufactured during the past three decades with an SXR Street Tracker conversion kit. All parts are sold individually and include a color-impregnated plastic gas tank ($495) coated on the inside to prevent corrosion caused by the presence of ethanol in pump fuel. A spacer kit ($299) allows replacement of the stock 16-inch rear wheel with a more dirt-track-authentic 19-inch front wheel.

Arc'teryx Fury AR

Quick show of hands: Who would like to add a few more weeks or even days to their riding season, cold and wind be damned? Intended to be worn under a leather or textile riding jacket, the soft-shell Arc’teryx Fury AR ($379; S-XXL) uses two-way stretch Gore Wind-stopper fabric to block wind and enhance breathability. The waist-length coat was created with on-bike mobility in mind, with a tall collar, articulated elbows, “no-lift” gusseted under-arms and low-profile hook-and-loop sleeve adjusters. Bonus: The Fury AR looks good on its own off the bike and out on the town.

Toschi Compagno

Overpack? Not us. Designer Michael Toschi has just the bag for a weekend ride: the Campagno ($295). This pyramid-shaped, non-collapsing creation is sized to fit comfortably in the large aftermarket or original-equipment top cases commonplace on many of today’s adventure-, luxuryand sport-touring motorcycles. An isolated shoe compartment keeps loafers separate from trousers, and shirts are suspended in the top of the case to help reduce wrinkles. Five zippered storage pouches provide space for personal items. There is even a removable shoulder strap and an anti-skid base.

d3o Armor

If the foam padding that came standard in your riding jacket and pants is so poorly shaped and uncomfortable that you removed it, d3o has a solution: "intelligent armor." The SuperFabric-backed, CE-approved elbow, shoulder, hip and knee protectors are incredibly thin and lightweight, yet they are claimed to absorb and dissipate high levels of energy over a wide range of temperatures. d3o armor is now standard in Firstgear's new three-layer Technical Performance Gear.

Original Bike Spirits Cycle Fuel System Supreme

Original Bike Spirits says its Cycle Fuel System Supreme additive ($7.95; 8 ounces) will improve your motorcycle's engine performance and has Dynojet dynamometer readings to back up its claims. In tests conducted by the product's manufacturer, Amrep, adding 1 ounce of Cycle Fuel System Supreme per gallon of gas to an 8000-mile 2003 Suzuki GSX-Rl000 allegedly resulted in a 4 percent bump in horsepower and a nearly 5 percent increase in torque. Original Bike Spirits offers a full line of cleaners, polishes and other motorcycle-specific chemicals.
