SW-Motech TraX Alu-Boxes

Hit the road less traveled with every thing but the kitchen sink? With the TraX Alu-Boxes, why not? These tough, 1.5mm-thick side cases, available in 37and 45-liter sizes in either black-powdercoat or raw-aluminum finishes ($300-350), are manufactured using a “holeless-rivet” system developed by German car-maker Audi for a cleaner appearance and greater water resistance Ditto the 38-liter top box ($300). All three are designed to fit various European and Japanese motorcycles and mount using Quick-Lock carrier systems ($215 for cases, $100 for top box).

KBC Pro-X

Topping the long list of features associated with the new off-road-specific, Snelland DOT-approved, carbon-fiber/ fiberglass Pro-X (starting at $300, sizes XXS-XXL) is “pre-preg” bag-molding manufacturing-a first for KBC. Result is, shell thickness is more consistent and, as a whole, lighter. In addition, the Dual Intake Ventilation System (DiVS) draws, circulates and controls airflow, and the Ultralux savoire-suede liner is removable for washing.

Revolution Pertormance Motors Hemi Four-Valve Heads

Need improved passing performance? You got it! In back-to-back testing, RPM says an Evo-style S&S 96-cubic-inch V-Twin equipped with its patented four-valve cylinder heads ($2995) produced a 30 percent increase in horsepower and a 10 percent bump in torque compared with a twovalve-per-pot S&S engine of identical displacement. Applications are available for engines with bore sizes from 3.50 to 4.25 inches. For even more go-power, add the Ram Chamber ($479), which allows fitment of two carburetors. Complete engines are also available.
