American sock-maker DeFeet-known since 1992 for its high-tech tootsie covers popularized in backpacking, cycling, running, skiing and other demanding outdoor activities-is now tackling motorcycling, both onand off-road. Moto-Sox come in three lengths-short ($14), mid-calf ($16) and full ($18). Invista Fresh FX Coolmax construction features padding on the bottom of the foot and atop the toes to fight shifter rash. The rest of the top is vented, as is the calf on the two taller models. Blisters? Hot feet? Forget about it.
