When it comes to movers and shakers, Suzuki is making big waves in 2008. The smallest of its new additions is the $1499 DR-Z70. This playbike is a supersized version of a 50cc machine. A 22-inch seat height and 10-inch wheels front and rear make it perfect for young, first-time riders.
The all-new, 67cc, four-stroke, sohc, air-cooled engine will have you ^Si thinking big. This rider-friendly bike meets strict new emissions regulations including all California Green Sticker requirements. The DR-Z has electric starting for convenience with a back-up kickstarter just in case. The ignition is keyed for parental control. An easy-to-shift three-speed semi-automatic transmission uses a centrifugal clutch, so young riders just starting out can concentrate on developing riding skills without being distracted by the need to learn about clutch operáis tion. An adjustable front brake lever ensures that various-size kids will be com52% fortable operating the machine. Drum brakes front and rear provide strong, »¿jl safe stopping.
