TRIUMPH REBUILDING
Damage from the fire that felled ap proximately one-third of the Triumph factory in Hinckley, England, this past March may not equal the damage in curred at Coventry during World War II, but it's serious nonetheless. Ac-
cording to Managing Director Karl Wharton, though, it could have been much worse. Actual losses only amounted to "a day's build," or about 200 bikes, and the paint shop and R&D center were untouched. Produc tion should be back up and running by September.
BEST OF THE BEST
Colorado's Interstate 70 is the coun try's most scenic stretch of highway, reports a poll of Atlas Van Lines truck drivers. And these folks should know; 41 percent of `em spend more than 40 weeks each year on the road criss-crossing the nation. The safest highway is 1-10 in Texas, they say, while Florida has the best rest stops. Most importantly, Tums get rid of heartburn the quickest!
