Getting a jump on the new millennium, Kawasaki has already unveiled most of its year-2000 holdover models, among them the Super Sherpa, previously a Japan-only offering. The stylish, entry-level dual-purpose bike is powered by an air-cooled, dohc, 250cc four-stroke Single, and sports disc brakes and gold-anodized rims. Seat height is a low 31.9 inches, and claimed dry weight is 249 pounds. Handy features include electric starting and a Digital Multi-function Meter, which combines a speedometer with dual tripmeters, clock and an odometer. Suggested retail price is $3999.
