CAGIVA FOURS SET TO SHOW?

One of the stars of the Milan Show this coming November should be the new Cagiva fourcylinder engine. As reported in May's Roundup, the F4 motor pro ject began with help from Ferrari but now is an in-house endeavor. Primary development was on a 750cc Superbike race motor, but rumors now point to a whole range of inline-Four Cagiva streetbikes. A 920cc version of the F4 would be targeted directly at Honda's CBR900RR. Sport-tourers and new-style standards are also a strong possibility. Apparently, early prototypes' aluminum-beam chas sis have been discarded in favor of Ducati-esque tubular-steel space frames-in order to keep the "fami ly~ style and differentiate the F4 from its Japanese competitors.

GET YOURSELF A CLUB

One of the joys (challenges?) of restoring and riding older, obscure motorcycles is finding parts, re building services and information about off-beat brands. Buying a gasket set for a Triumph Bonneville is cake compared to tracking down an air-cleaner for your 1960 Harley 165cc Super Ten, ordering a tail light for your NSU Lux, or scaring up reproduction sidepanels for your `72 Yankee Z 500. Joining one of the following brand-specific clubs/registers can help:
