APRILIA'S URBAN ANIMAL
Aprilia's new Moto 6.5 is, among other things, proof that a basic, commuter bike needn't look dull.
Scheduled for release in February, the 649cc 6.5 is, in Aprilia’s words, a basic machine, “intended to fill the requests coming from a new metropolitan biker.”
Described by the company as an “absolutely peculiar” model, the 6.5 is propelled by the same four-stroke Single found in the dual-purpose Pegaso. The dohe motor features five radial valves.
Claimed dry weight for the 6.5 is 352 pounds. At presstime, there was no word about the bike’s price or availability.
