R.C. ENGINEERING HANDS OUT $10,000

R.C. Engineering president Russ Col lins awarded $10,000 in checks to winners in the NMRA-sponsored R.C. Sportsman Cup drag racing series. Under the program, sportsman racers could earn points at their choice of five of the six NMRA national events. Riders with the most points—regardless of their Sportsman class—were eligible for cash awards from R.C. as long as they displayed an R.C. sticker on their bikes.

Top points scorer for the series was Geoff Masters of Newburgh Heights, Ohio, who received $3,000. Awards ranged from there down to $300 for 10th place in points.
