THEFT-RESISTANT LOCK & CHAIN
Mountain West Alarm has developed a theft-resistant lock and chain for motorcycles. The chain is 4-ft. long, high carbon, 9/32-in. steel. Each link is wèlded from case hardened steel specially formulated to resist cutting with bolt cutters or hack saws. The blue-chromed chain is covered with tough plastic sleeving. The padlock is secured with a round key, 7-pin “pick resistant” cylinder. The hardened steel shackle and case are triple chrome-plated for maximum anti-drilling protection, lasting finish, and corrosion resistance. Hardened steel locking balls secure the deadbolt shackle at both heel and toe. Another hardened ball is incorporated in the keyway to foil circular drilling. A transistorized emergency unit that switches on a powerful amber light when triggered by the headlight of an approaching vehicle has been developed by Pittari’s. TWIST GRIP LEVERAGE
S&S Engineering has developed a grip which is said to provide more leverage for motorcycle throttles. The black ano dized, non-glare finish lever is clamped into place on the end of the throttle grip with a single screw. Priced at $1.95, the Twist Grip Lever is sold at most motorcycle dealers. HONDA PANEL
An accessory panel for Honda 750s, 500s and 450s recently introduced by Big River Bike Products contains the ignition switch and a cigarette lighter. The unit mounts to the front handlebars using two bottom stock bolts. The cast aluminum panel is 8-in. across and a hole is predrilled for the stock ignition switch. No rewiring is necessary. THROTTLE ASSISTANCE
The Twist-Assist is a throttle helper device which mounts in the end of the right handlebar. The handlebar conceals everything except two washers and nuts, which cap a small shaft protruding from the end of the twistgrip. The unit is held in place by tightening a tapered expander ring into the tubular body while the Twist-Assist is inside the handlebar. When the unit is employed, less drag friction is said to be required to hold the throttle in place and it will maintain a constant position. The Twist-Assist is designed to fit all standard 7/8-in. handlebars and will adapt to small variances in inside diameter. It is available from CMB Mfg. Co., Box 57, Dept. CHAIN GUARD
Dixie Tool & Die Co. has designed an enclosed chain guard to catch oil used for lubrication and eliminate the oil slinging problem. MOTOCROSS GUARDS

FULL COVERAGE HELMETS
Buco has developed the full-coverage “Racing GT” helmet, featuring special colors and styling. A specially-designed “flare-out” scoop at the bottom of the face shield is said to make it aerodynamically sound, permitting high speeds without air pressure pushing the helmet up on the head. The custom design interior is fully lined and padded, with molded crown pad and ear-cheek protection. The helmet is certified to MS&ATA and Z90 standards and is AMA and SHCA approved.
